One Drink At A Time

  So, the "Manthem" began as an answer to my wife's questions, "Where have you been?  What are you doing?" 

  Years ago, I started smoking cigars with a buddy that my wife hadn't really gotten to know yet.  As a responsible husband and Dad, I'd help put the kids to bed and then head off to go smoke cigars and have a few cocktails with my friend.  To smoke a good cigar takes at least two hours, but then you still have to solve all the world's problems, "One Drink At A Time."  This song answers her questions.  I hope you'll keep this in your back pocket if your "Better Half" (that's another song on my album, "Honkytonkitis") ever questions your behavior 🙂
